Primary Application Submission & MAP Letter Packet Request Deadline

DUE july 1, 2027, for ALL applicants

Note: to participate in the Application Readiness Program and, if applicable, Letter Packet service ALL requirements must be completed by the indicated deadlines!

If you plan to apply with a Northeastern University Letter Packet, you must submit your primary application to at least one health professions program and complete your Letter Packet request in your Medical Applicant Portal (MAP) by July 1, 2027.

Completing a primary application is a significant undertaking, and it is important to stay on track to apply early. We encourage you to review our Primary Applications webpage for guidance on preparing and submitting your application. Like our other program deadlines, the July 1 deadline is designed to help you remain competitive in an admissions process where most health professions programs use rolling admissions.

To finalize your Letter Packet request, you must:

• Submit your primary application to at least one health professions program.
• Complete all required sections of your Medical Applicant Portal (MAP).
• Submit your Letter Packet Request through MAP.

Please note: Adding your Northeastern University Letter Packet information within your centralized application (e.g., AMCAS, AACOMAS, AADSAS, CASPA) does not notify our office that you are ready for your Letter Packet to be prepared. You must also submit your Letter Packet Request through MAP so that we can begin assembling and transmitting your packet.
