The PreMed and PreHealth Advising Program’s Application Workshops are meant for individuals who are within one year of applying to a health graduate program!

If you are planning to apply within the next year, you are strongly encouraged to view all of our Application Workshops to ensure you are prepared to apply with a competitive application.

Interview Workshop

In this virtual workshop, applicants receive guidance on interview etiquette and best practices, including additional interview preparation resources offered through Northeastern University.

Secondary Application Workshop

This workshop reviews the logistics and processes for pre-writing and completing secondary applications for health professional schools as well as details on professional readiness exams and situational judgement exams some schools include in their secondary processes.

Medical Application (MD) Workshop

In this virtual workshop, each section of the allopathic medical school application(s) are reviewed, as well as Northeastern-specific items to be aware of.

LiaisonCAS Application Workshop (AACOMAS, AADSAS, CASPA, VMCAS, OptomCAS)

In this virtual workshop, we will review health professional programs that utilize LiaisonCAS (DO, Dental, PA, Vet, Optometry).

Choosing Your Schools Workshop

This interactive workshop reviews selection criteria and resources for choosing which schools to apply to as well as important considerations regarding an applicant’s competitiveness for particular programs and program-types.

Work & Activities Workshop

Crafting a compelling Work & Activities section for your health professional school application is essential to effectively highlight your experiences and qualifications.

Personal Statement Workshop

This workshop reviews strategies, resources, and timeline for creating your personal statement for your health professions centralized application.

Letters of Evaluation Workshop

This workshop reviews strategies and timeline for requesting letters of evaluation from faculty and professional references and provides detailed insight into the PreMed and PreHealth Advising Program’s letter services.

Application Readiness Program Kickoff

This interactive workshop provides information on the PMPH Application Readiness Program, evaluate competencies for health professional schools, and create a foundation for their application.

Entrance Exam Workshop

The workshop includes a strategy overview for entrance exam preparation and also features a Q & A with our MCAT and DAT Prep Course instructors!

2027 Cycle Application Cycle Overview

This workshop sets the foundation for future workshops in the Application Workshop series and reviews the timeline of the application cycle as well as important deadlines and requirements regarding the application and letter of evaluation processes.
