The PreMed and PreHealth Advising Program staff are delighted that you are interested in pursuing a career in health care. Our goal is to be the best PreMed and PreHealth Advising Program in the country. Our program has excellent and experienced staff that are committed to working with you throughout your time here at Northeastern University. As advisors, we will be assisting you in integrating your career choice with your academics, matching your interests with experiential opportunities, advising you on the application process to your graduate health school, and providing meaningful opportunities to prepare you for a career in medicine. In addition, as your PreMed and PreHealth Advisors we are a part of your larger advising team here at NU to help ensure both your academic and professional career success.

The Northeastern PreMed and PreHealth Advising Program provides individualized advising resources to Northeastern undergraduate students and alumni considering careers in the areas of allopathic medicine (MD), osteopathic medicine (DO), dentistry, optometry, physician assistant, podiatric medicine, or veterinary medicine. We strive to educate and advise students on health professional school expectations, preparation requirements, and application processes to facilitate the success of Northeastern applicants and be a trusted source of competent and caring health professions advisors.

College of Professional Studies (CPS) students should consult with the CPS Career and Academic Coaching Staff for PreMed and PreHealth Advising.
