You can join the Explore Program at any time, beginning from when you submit your application through your second year at Northeastern.
Prospective Students
Applying to the Explore Program is easy! Just choose the Explore Program for undeclared students when you apply to Northeastern via the Common App or Coalition App. For more information about applying to Northeastern, visit the Undergraduate Admissions website.
Admitted Students
Already admitted to Northeastern, but not sure about the major you’ve chosen? You can request to switch into the Explore Program at any time before or after you deposit via your Application Status Check portal. You can even switch over the summer during your Orientation session, during Welcome Week in the fall, or while you are abroad with the N.U.in Program, but the sooner you connect with us and switch into the program, the sooner we can start helping you!
Current Northeastern Students
If you are a first- or second-year Northeastern student who is reconsidering your current major and you are interested in switching into the Explore Program, book an appointment with an Explore Program advisor using the Navigate appointment calendar via myNortheastern. During walk-in only weeks (registration and add/drop), you can sign up for a same-day walk-in meeting with any Explore Program advisor in 1 Meserve Hall weekdays from 9 AM to 4 PM.
