Director’s Welcome
Welcome to the General Studies Program! Our mission is to provide students with the personalized advising and mentoring that leads to success in their first year of college and beyond.
Each fall we welcome approximately 100 students into our friendly and vibrant community. Throughout their General Studies year, students work closely with their advisors to explore their academic and professional interests, fulfill requirements, and prepare to transition to a major at the beginning of their sophomore year.
Our team includes skilled instructors, committed advisors, and a nationally-certified peer tutoring program, all dedicated to ensuring our students have a great start to their Northeastern experience.
