About

Erin Bourque is an international affairs and political science major, with minors in history and Russian. She has been serious about her study of Russian since before her time at Northeastern. In her senior year of high school, Bourque was awarded a U.S. Department of State scholarship also for the purpose of studying Russian. In her first year at Northeastern, Bourque earned a Critical Language Scholarship to study Russian in Vladimir, Russia and in her second year, she earned a Boren Scholarship. In 2019, she won the Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship for students pursuing a professional career in the U.S. Department of State Foreign Service.
