Join Us for Our RISE:2021 Virtual Workshops

This year, RISE is for everyone. No matter where you are in the world, if you discovered it, built it, or created it, you can share it at RISE. We’ll be hosting a born-digital virtual event where undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty and staff can share the fruits of their research and creative endeavors for the past year with a sterling crew of judges and all the campuses in our global network.

To help prepare you for this great event, we’ll be hosting a workshop series for Northeastern students. Join us!

All About RISE & Writing a Project Abstract

Join us to learn all about this year’s Virtual Research, Innovation, Scholarship, Entrepreneurship (RISE) Expo and how you can be part of this exciting university-wide event. If you created it or discovered it, you can share it at RISE — and this year, you can do it from anywhere in the world! We’ll share step-by-step guidance on how to get started and craft your abstract, too. Each workshop will contain the same information.

 

Making Your Rise Presentation

You’ve submitted a RISE abstract, now it’s time to get started on the fun part — your presentation. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll talk you through putting together a visually dynamic, compelling, short video presentation that you’ll share with judges and the world at RISE. We’ll also get your prepped with what to expect during the LIVE Q & A that will happen during the day of RISE.

All workshops contain the same information.

 

Getting Ready for RISE

We hope you’re as excited as we are! In this final RISE workshop, we’ll share best practices about how to get comfortable handling the tough questions the RISE Judges and attendees will be tossing your way. A fun, interactive session to help you calm your nerves and be your best for April 15.
