Event Website

Please register using your official Northeastern University email address. For graduating seniors, current graduate students, and alumni.

Eligibility for the NSF GRFP: US citizens, nationals, or permanent residents; other eligibility requirements as set forth in the current Program Solicitation; no GPA requirements.

In this session, we'll discuss putting together the strongest possible NSF Graduate Research Program Fellowship application, as well as keys to some of the related STEM Fellowship awards -- the NDSEG, the GEM Fellowship, and more.

With a mission to "ensure the vitality of the human resource base of science and engineering in the United States and reinforces its diversity", the NSF GRFP recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based Master's and doctoral degrees. The five-year fellowship includes three years of financial support including an annual stipend of $34,000 and a cost of education allowance of $12,000 to the institution. 2,500 awards will be made this year. If you're applying for graduate school this year, you should put together an application.
