Northeastern University Global Health Initiative Conference
The Northeastern University Global Health Initiative (NUGHI) is Northeastern’s first student-led global health conference and aims to be the largest student-led global health conference in the nation. NUGHI is unique in its interdisciplinary approach to global health. NUGHI will take place in ISEC from October 19th - 20th!
Organized by students for fellow students, NUGHI is a space for people from all disciplines to learn how their interests can connect to global health. Solving the pressing global health issues of today requires a vast array of specialties, and this conference provides a platform for experts in as many of these areas of study as possible. With a thorough exploration of research, economics, policy development, and education, attendees have the opportunity to develop a holistic understanding of global health and to cultivate the skills to begin making their own marks on the field.
NUGHI 2018 encourages students to challenge their old conceptions of global health, to interact closely with leaders in the field, and ultimately to find their own place in the world of global health.
