To start off the spring semester, we will be holding an information session on two of our most generous and prevalent undergraduate research awards. Learn how you can fund your research or creative endeavor!
The Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavor Awards (UGRCE) offer financial and academic support to Northeastern students seeking to develop and execute projects under the mentorship of Northeastern faculty members. Offering both Early and Advanced Awards, the program encourages undergraduate students from all years, colleges, and majors to deepen their experiential engagement through an original intellectual or creative contribution to their discipline.
The Summer Scholars Independent Research Fellowships (SSIRF) provide up to $5,000 to fund at least ten weeks of full-time work during the summer for original, student-initiated independent research, creative performance, and project-making in close collaboration with a faculty mentor
