SUMMARY:Globalize Your Career with a Fulbright or Peace Corps Opportunity
DESCRIPTION:Learn what the paid Fulbright can offer you.  Fulbright representatives\, former participants/ alumni\, Peace Corps representatives\, and the Director of our Undergraduate Research and Fellowships Office will talk about  launching an international career through research\, exploration and paid service.  The session will be followed by an informal networking event over hors d’oeuvres with Fulbright and Peace Corps Northeastern University Alumni/ae.  These opportunities are open to ALL undergraduate and graduate students as Fulbright is open to everyone. \nAfter learning from a panel you’ll be able to choose rotations to be able to speak more with representatives at the event.  Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres served. \nParticipants currently include:\nEgon Cholakian\, Director\, Fulbright Association MA Chapter (Background includes: Brookings Institution\, MIT Advanced Certificate for Executives in Management\, Innovation\, & Technology at Sloan School; and Harvard University\, Visiting Researcher on Dual-Use Technology/Intangible Valuation)\nLori Dunn\, Peace Corps Regional Recruiter and Field Based Partnership Building and Recruiter\nJonna Iacono\, Director of Office of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships\nAlane DeLuca\, Returned Peace Corps Volunteer\, Micro-Business Enterprise\, Senegal\, West Africa\, and NU Alumnus\nJohn Choi\, Former Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Grantee: Instructor\, Usak University\, Turkey (Master’s in International Education Policy and International Global Studies Bachelor’s Degree with an Arabic Language Certificate from Middlebury College)\nStefan Affonso (from Trinidad and Tobago)\, Fulbright Global Scholar Award- interest areas: International Security and Resilience\, Counterterrorism.\nMegan Compaine\, Returned Peace Corps Volunteer\, Healthy Schools Project\, Guatemala\n\nCo-organized by the Office of Global Services and Career Development for International Week  Registration is encouraged on NUcareers (as food is served) \n \nRegister
