Capping off Honors Welcome Week is an Honors tradition: First Pages— our shared reading program. This year’s event takes place on Tuesday, September 3rd at 7pm.
Our First Pages selection this year is What the Eyes Don’t See by Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, the pediatrician who discovered that the water supply in Flint Michigan was contaminated with lead. Dr. Mona will be with us that Tuesday evening before classes begin. She’ll give a talk about her experiences and the issues raised in her book, and she’ll stick around after the event to sign books.
We can’t wait to see all our incoming first-year Honors students in August!
