Applying for Prestigious Scholarships
Given their academic excellence and wealth of experiences in service and research/creative endeavors performed locally and globally, University Honors students are very well positioned to compete for prestigious national and international scholarships and fellowships. Many of these awards work to frame the undergraduate experience within an international context, opening doors to sponsored travel and study abroad—or to the most prestigious graduate programs in the world.
University Honors students have an outstanding track record of earning these awards. Being selected for a prestigious scholarship is the ultimate honor—an honor that takes diligence and strong mentorship to achieve. Fortunately, the University Honors Program and Northeastern University’s Office of Undergraduate Research & Fellowships can provide that mentorship and support, beginning with your earliest days at Northeastern.
