Experiential learning, anchored by our signature cooperative education program, lies at the heart of academic life at Northeastern. The integration of study and professional experience enables students to put ideas into action through work, research, international study, and service in 93 countries around the world.
Cooperative Education and Career Development
Our distinctive educational approach integrates rigorous classroom study with real world experiences to create a powerful way to learn. As a result, Northeastern's graduates excel at managing their lives and careers, and contribute to the world.
Co-op Housing & Connections
Once you find your co-op job, Co-op Connections is here to help. Our staff is available to assist you with issues ranging from housing and transportation, to relocation resources.
Dialogues of Civilization
Open to Northeastern University students of any major, the Dialogue of Civilizations is a series of "global student exchanges" between students at Northeastern University and students around the world.
The Global Co-op Program assists Northeastern students to pursue a six-month international experiential learning opportunity in over 70 countries, with a wide range of international organizations.
Northeastern University is committed to providing you with high-quality study abroad opportunities that will allow you to develop the knowledge, skills and networks needed to become productive and successful participants in the global community.
Presidential Global Scholarships
The Presidential Global Scholars Program supports outstanding students seeking global co-op. Through competitively awarded grants, this program encourages and enables students to take advantage of all that Northeastern has to offer.
Admitting students into The N.U.in Program provides enrollment opportunities to talented candidates whom we are unable to accommodate in the fall because of the competitiveness of our applicant pool. Given the large numbers of well-prepared students who apply to Northeastern, N.U.in is for those who wish to be part of our dynamic community and to participate in our co-op and experiential learning programs.
Enrolling in Army ROTC is not, strictly speaking, joining the Army. You will not be sent to boot camp. However, the primary purpose of the Army ROTC program is to produce its Officers, so you must agree to serve as Officers in the Army after graduation in order to go through the entire program, or if you have received an ROTC scholarship.
Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors
We challenge you to explore your passion, create a better future, and inspire others. Every day, Northeastern's undergraduates engage in knowledge creation, artistic expression and entrepreneurial innovation in collaboration with faculty and peers on campus and around the globe.
Fellowships and Scholarships
The Office of Fellowships aims to help students earn fellowships and equally important, understand and clearly narrate their ambitions, talents, and projects. We believe that the skills and the knowledge garnered during the application process are invaluable resources for all who undertake it, whether they earn an award or choose to pursue graduate research, the professions, or other opportunities after their time at Northeastern.
The Center supports Northeastern University’s long-standing commitment to civic and community engagement. By engaging with the communities of Greater Boston and beyond, we draw strength from our neighbors and surroundings and we contribute to them as a partner and a resource.
