About

Nina Angeles first went to Jordan for a co-op with the Jordan River Foundation in 2012, and, in 2014, she returned for a research project and to teach English to Palestinian refugees. For her Fulbright Scholarship, Angeles again traveled to Jordan to research the impact of social enterprise on Jordan’s stateless Gaza refugees.

Angeles studied international affairs and human services and also learned about social enterprise through Northeastern’s Social Enterprise Institute. Following her Fulbright, Angeles plans to enroll in an MBA program and hopes to pursue a career in social enterprise.
