Taylor Hausser, an international business major, always loved learning about other cultures. Hailing from Midlothian, VA, Hausser helped plan a diplomatic visit for officials from Mali to Richmond, VA before she graduated high school. She later initiated a research project into the effectiveness of Western aid in parts of Africa, and studied Arabic in Morocco through the National Security Language Initiative.

Hausser earned a Critical Language Scholarship to return to Morocco to help her perfect her Arabic and prepare her for her future in consulting and mentoring social enterprises in northern and western Africa.
